Gabriel Flores Jr is a sensational boxing prospect. He signed a promotional contract with Top Rank in 2017 and made his pro debut on May 5, 2017 – only four days after his 17th birthday – in Reno and won by second-round knockout against Devon Jones. He amassed an amateur record of 91-7 before turning professional with 12 national tournament wins.
Gabriel competed in the USA Boxing Junior Olympic National Championships, won the National Silver Gloves 119-pound title, won two Ringside World Championships, won the USA Boxing Youth National Championships, earned a spot on the junior national team which competed at the AIBA Junior World Boxing Championships in St. Petersburg, Russia, and retained the No. 1 national ranking for years.
Flores has been featured on some of the biggest cards in boxing history including Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder II, and in his last bout stopped veteran Jayson Velez. JR is currently 20-0, with 7 KOs, and now trains in Las Vegas, Nevada at Jorge Capetillo's Boxing Gym with his father, Gabe Flores Sr. “I got to stay strong because my mom is looking down on me,” said Gabriel Flores Jr. “I know she wants me to live my dream.”
